Thank you for visiting my new blog and web site, covering the intersection of Ideas, Spirits, Resonance and Discernment.

My technical background is doing research and engineering work on vibration, acoustics and nondestructive evaluation (NDE) for over three decades. I have a strong background in modeling the physics of transducers and resonant behaviors in mechanical and electromagnetic systems. I also have a great deal of experience with data analysis and statistics, validating the reliability of NDE techniques. Lastly, I have worked on a number of technology transition projects over the years, on automation, algorithms and AI, to support data acquisition and review.

There are a lot of terms that get thrown around in the paranormal fields. Energy and resonance are repeatedly used to describe a mix of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states. The brain has also been referred to as a transducer for consciousness. My hope is to use my background in these topics to better understand how the interface works with ideas and spirits.

I have had a number of what I call outlier experiences in my life, that are not well explained by a pure materialism model for our world. I believe that outlier data points must be honestly considered. While many odd experiences often have mundane explanations, others appear to be associated with less well understood phenomena. My hope is by considering them carefully, new insight will be possible about how the universe works. I believe we must be open-minded to such data and especially not dismiss individuals that experience such events.

My goal with this blog and planned projects is to investigate and share progress to better understand the interface between our physical world and ourselves, and what I like to think of as the crossroads of ideas and spirits. I feel resonance phenomenon will likely play a key role in better understanding the interface between the physical and the realm of “ideas and spirits”. Lastly, I feel the concept of discernment is critical, in properly interpreting the available data and making appropriate judgements.

I plan to share both leading research, and my own investigations and thoughts to understand the nature of what lies “beyond the veil”. Following the path of sciences like biology, chemistry and physics for our physical world, I believe there is a need for building and testing promising models for the realm of ideas and spirits. I believe there must be a set of rules involved, and I want to shed more light on them.

I don’t believe I will have all the answers, but I feel this will be an important journey. I hope to engage with others that have similar interests. Thank you!
